Jose Soto is an independent voice in online media focusing on news, trends, gay issues, sex, society, history, bars and drinks, relationships, Latino/Chicano issues, economics, entertainment, social media, film, theater and performing arts, technology, philosophy, religion, business, and culture wars.

Jose is a former gay activist who has helped start up several gay rights organizations and clubs, and is a passionate screenwriter and playwright with a good sense of taste in film and theater. He's also a businessman, entrepreneur, and an avid philanthropist supporting various causes like HIV/AIDS, hypoglycemia awareness, anxiety and depression prevention and research, cancer research, gay youth suicide prevention, diabetes research, space technology advancement, research in free energy, animal shelters, charities for incest/child abuse survivors, Mexican youth programs, Mexican LGBT causes and HIV programs, Mexican shelter charities, Mexican space program research, immigrant shelters and services, and combating hunger, poverty, transgender abuse in the US and Mexico.

Jose Soto is a native of Orange County California and grew up in the city of Santa Ana. He attended Century High School, and received his AA degree from Orange Coast College. Jose also has a BA, and an MA in Drama with minors on Journalism, Business, Poetry, English Literature, LGBT studies from UC Irvine.
