Obama to finally fulfill his promise and will sign ENDA executive order

After waiting more than six years, Obama has finally decided to fulfill his 2008 campaign promise to ban federal contractors from discriminating against gays in the workplace with an executive order:

According to the Human Rights Campaign, federal contractors employ more than 20 percent of the American workforce, and collect about $500 billion in contracts each year. Data from the Williams Institute shows that the order would protect 11 million more American workers from discrimination based on sexual orientation and up to 16.5 million more workers based on gender identity. 

The U.S. Senate passed ENDA in November but the House has yet to vote. Shortly after Obama's announcement, members of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus said they supported the executive order, calling it a step toward a full federal law

Michael Sam officially signs with the Rams

Hey bigots, take this news and shove it up your pipes and smoke it:

The Rams announced on Thursday that they had signed all 11 players selected by the team in the 2014 NFL draft, including Sam. A first-team All-American defensive lineman from the University of Missouri, Sam signed a four-year, $2.65 million contract, with $46,000 of it guaranteed, reported Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports. All of the Rams' rookie signees went through some financial education before signing their deals.

Even though bigots were in denial by trying to point out that Sam was no good and that he might not even make the cut are now probably shitting in their pants.

And by the way, that is one cool pay check and I hope he doesn't become an NFL statistic of going into bankruptcy a few years after leaving the league like all the other players. If I were his boyfriend I would not only make him an exquisite dinner at home but would definitely give him the best fuck he ever had, though something tells me that this already happened the night when he's contract was announced. Hot.

Anderson Cooper nails GOP anti-gay bigot to the wall

The Texas GOP has adopted a plank in their platform in support of 'ex-gay' quack therapy. So Anderson Cooper has been trying to get to the bottom of this teabagger tomfoolery and talks to a republican conservative stooge who thinks that its okay to push gay boys to fuck some pussy when they don't want to:

Its funny though because Rick Perry, the apparent leader of the Texas GOP clown car, is now defending his stupid comments on homosexuality by saying that all of this gay talk is mainly a distraction from the real issues. Uh Rick hon, let me remind you it is YOUR party that is actually entertaining the notion that gays can love women's cooch if they only try. It is YOUR party that is pushing for therapy that is well known to cause harm and suicidal thoughts in patients. It is YOUR party that doesn't care about the real issues and is instead, as Mark Levin would put it, chasing genitalia - the gay genitalia. It is YOUR party that is trying to pry into the crotches of gay men (and I think many gay men wouldn't mind) by taking valuable time and adding endorsements of 'ex-gay' quack therapy into YOUR party's platform. 

Bigots demand recount in Idaho gay rights ordinance referendum

A while ago the town of Pocatello ID decided to ban anti-gay discrimination in employment and certain public accommodations, but of course the conservative clown car rolled into town hall and demanded a recall of the ordinance and to put it up for a vote in the upcoming election to "let the people decide." The thought behind that was that they thought they could garner enough confusion (since these type of referendums can lead to confusion of whether to vote "yes" or "no") and just plain ole' God Hates Fags types to turn out to vote and deny gay people of the town any protection because of freeeeeeeeeeedoooom ya'll.

Well the bigots got their wish and the voters of the town took to the ballot and voted on the issue. But unfortunate for these anti-gay warriors the voters didn't bite and in fact approved of the anti-discrimination ordinance by a small margin of votes, but not enough for an automatic recount (around an 80 vote margin of victory). One would think that's that and we can then move on right? WRONG!:

A committee working to repeal Pocatello’s non-discrimination ordinance is seeking a recount in a close May vote that kept the law in place.  

The Vote Yes Pocatello committee applied on Monday for a recount of the votes that were cast in 20 of Pocatello’s 39 precincts on May 20, along with early and absentee votes, according to Bannock County election officials. 

Vote Yes Pocatello representatives confirmed Monday that they made the request and are planning to release additional information about their decision later this week.

Isn't that ironic? I mean these are the same clowns that rage about the "will of the people" and "let the people vote." But when they lose like this all of sudden fuck the will of the people, they obviously made a mistake! We demand a recount! This is not right!

Delusional teabagger thinks he can stop gay marriage in Wisconsin

A delusional teabagger has filed a lawsuit to stop gays from getting married in Wisconsin. He didn't need to do this, if only he would stop being a stupid yokel for once in his life he would know that the federal judge has indeed halted gay marriages and has stayed her decision until further appeal.

But the country critter whose face seems to be falling apart had this reasoning as to why he had a right to sue gays and stop them from getting married:

“We believe the county violated our civil rights by issuing these marriages licenses. When we voted eight years ago, the law was one man, one woman,” Braun said.

Yup... Cleatus thinks it is his civil right to stop queers from getting hitched. Lets get one thing straight you crazy teabagger: it is you who is violating other people's civil rights by denying them the basic fundamental right to marriage as dictated by the Supreme Court. It is your childish insistence that all of us sane people must be dragged in with you into your delusional teabagger warped world view. It is you that is causing all this pain onto yourself.

So don't waste the court's time, I mean don't you have some teabagger signs to misspell for your next KKK teabagger rally?

Pennsylvania clerk wants to halt gay marriage and appeal ruling

A Pennsylvania county clerk is asking the federal court to stay its previous ruling that struck down the gay marriage ban and is trying to establish standing in the case in order to appeal it:

A county official from eastern Pennsylvania is asking a federal judge to allow her to appeal his decision to overturn Pennsylvania’s law barring the recognition of same-sex marriage. 

Santai-Gaffney wants Jones to put his decision on hold and to allow her to step in to the case to appeal it to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia.

In the name of justice we must deny justice to gays.

The GOP Governor has decided not to appeal the decision after reading the writing on the wall, but this pesky clerk thinks she knows more than the high level attorney team that was hired to defend the ban and who lost. Delusional dreamer.
